Valentines Day | February 22, 2010

Valentines Day was an alright movie at best. The only thing about this romantic comedy, which is not a comedic at all, is that because it has so many big name actors in it and the actors playing roles that I would never expect to see them in. The movie was just based on one day and that was Valentines Day in Las Angeles. It had a different story and a different relationship for every character and at some points it was hard to keep up with what’s going on with whom. Usually I like to list a few name actors that I liked through the movie and those are usually the main characters, but in Valentines Day there were so many big name actors that it would be hard to list and tell you about everyone. One of the weirdest thing is the film and probably the worst role for this actor was they had Ann Hathaway playing a sex phone operator. Just saying that makes me feel weird and watching it makes me feel weirder.

The soundtrack in Valentines Day is probably another reason its doing good and the fact that it also stars Taylor Swift. This was Taylor Swift’s first movie and probably her last because she cannot act, she needs to stick with music and that’s it. The soundtrack had many big name artists to go along with all the big name actors. It must have cost a fortune to make.

The only way I would recommend this movie to anybody is if you were in the mood to see a cheesy love story with your girlfriend or wife. And also if you wanted to make a first date as awkward as possible then go see this. I unfortunately went and saw this with a group of people and most were girls so for the rest of the night it was very awkward. I would give Valentines day a 2 out of 5 at best and if you wanted to see it then wait tell it comes out on video because it is not worth the money to go see it in theaters.
